BLOG 6: JUST BREATHE

Life can be overwhelming sometimes (or most times). There is always something on the “to do list”, or there is always something to watch, blah blah blah. Honestly, I think were just moving a little too fast. The shit you’re anxious about (of course not all), you’re probably just over thinking.

I know it is hard, but just breathe a little and slow down your life, even if it is just for 5 minutes.

  • Take a breath. Breathe consciously. Sit down, close your eyes and intently breathe. Don’t just let yourself breathe automatically all the time (YOU’RE NOT A ROBOT). Feel the air coming in and out of your nose. Feel your chest rise and fall. Feel the euphoria rush through your body when you do these things. Feel good.
  • Spend an hour or two away from your phone. Away from all the things, and social media accounts telling you how you should live your life.
  • Do some thinkin and sittin, and some sittin and thinkin (If you know, you know). Go back to your childhood when you used to sit and daydream about everything in life.

It's amazing how the most simple; but oddly complicated act of breathing has helped me get out of ruts in my life. I get it. Sometimes there is just too much going on and you don't know which task to complete first, or what you're going to do, etc.... It happens to me too. But if you just slowed down, took a propper breath and broke down everything you're doing into steps, you'll get there eventually. You cannot walk a mile in one step. You gotta take many, many small steps to get there.

That is it. Do this everyday and see the results for yourself.
